From Jennifer: As my journey with building R-Class, the iconic pointe shoe brand, hits the 3 year anniversary, I wanted to find a way to extend my limited time and availability to the community and offer more dancers the ability to be part of our journey.
When beginning to build my photography business several years ago, I built an Ambassador program that had to eventually be paused because I got a little busy! Bringing back Collaborating Artists in a new and unique way allows me to work with more dancers and give them more opportunities. Q: How is this different from being an Ambassador?
A: A brand ambassador typically has the following criteria:
- A large following on social media with active and engaging content.
- No affiliations with the brand's competitors.
- A similar audience to the brand
- A social media aesthetic that complements the brand
This is different! Because I choose the R-Class Ambassadors, I have to narrow down based on the typical criteria for business reasons, leaving many dancers that would love to grow their following and social media presence left out.
Q: Do I need to wear R-Class pointe shoes?
A: No. However because of who I am and what I do as a "day job" the benefits I can offer revolve around R-Class. It would make sense for dancers joining this program to want to be a part of the R-Class journey.
Q: What are the benefits?
A:
- Participate in as many Content Creation Days as you can! The days will be broken out to have groups of dancers for several hours rotate in the photo studio as well as have full access to the entire R-Class warehouse for their own creations. All viable fully edited photos will be in a gallery within 6 weeks from the day.
- Images and videos created have a chance to be featured in R-Class marketing
- 20% discount on www.r-class.us and our physical Showroom location in Manassas, VA
- Free swag throughout the year
Q: Can I be an ambassador for other brands or photographers?
A: Yes!
- Please ask your photographer for permission (you can also even invite them to our content day - totally welcome to collaborate!).
- Only brands with competing pointe shoes are excluded. Any dancewear, activewear, competitions etc are OK and can be used in the photoshoots!
Q: Will there be make-up dates?
A: No. The 3 dates are open and you can choose to attend 1 or 3!
Q: What is the cost?
A: $750 for the year. Choose to come to all of the content days and take advantage of R-Class discounts... what a deal!
Because I do not have the time to accept individual photo clients currently, this is a way to shoot with me all year!
Q: How many dancers will be chosen and what is the cut off date?
A: 20 is the maximum number. Until we hit 20 dancers, the application will remain open!
